Boral Country Concrete and Quarries is the leading supplier of construction materials to the NSW market. Our extensive network of operations provides high quality products to all sectors of the construction industry – no job is too big or too small for Boral’s expertise.
In Northern NSW Boral operates 17 concrete batch plants between Ballina and Taree. Boral’s fixed batch plants draw mains power in the manufacturing of premixed concrete and our mobile batch plants operate generators to produce electricity. Over the past 5 years Ericson Electrical has worked at all 17 fixed plants and even on the mobile plant which provided concrete to the Bonville Upgrade section of the Pacific Highway.
Don Ericson and his team of experts, like Boral, have proven that no job is too big or too small for them. From testing and tagging right through to complete new installations are within scope for Ericson Electrical. Last year Boral spent $1.5M on a new state of the art batching facility at Macksville. This plant supplies very high early age strength concrete to Australian Precast Solutions and is largely reliant upon top end technology. When we had to choose a suitable electrical contractor for this tricky design & installation, we had no hesitation in opting for Don Ericson and the outcome is the best batch plant in NSW Country.
Boral Country prides itself on demanding high OH&S standards – and is particularly focused upon electrical safety. Much of Ericsons recent work with Boral has been upgrading our operations to meet and surpass current standards and we know Don has invested time and training to ensure his staff are keenly aware of the relevant codes and that his team are completing the modifications in a safe and sustainable way.
